ATLANTA SILHOUETTES

The Silhouettes of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is an auxiliary organization of the Atlanta Chapter of the fraternity whose membership is comprised of the wives and widows of the Men of Kappa Alpha Psi. The chapter is one of a national network of chapters which is supported by provincial and national leadership.

 

The primary function of the chapter is to give assistance in any project designated by the fraternity, to engage in community service projects recommended by the national leadership and approved by the membership, to host Silhouettes visiting Atlanta for Grand Chapter or Provincial meetings, and to plan social activities for the membership.

 

Notable activities included:
  * Assisting the Kappas in the Guide Right Program and other activities as needed
  * Sponsoring Silhouette Meet Ups and Spring & Christmas social activities
  * Providing information to the membership on serious diseases which affect women
  * Sponsoring a Christmas activity which will also celebrate the chapter’s annual anniversary
